Florida Vintage Pattern Association. SPA/BPA. This is a Senior Pattern Association Chapter, for the state of Florida. Formed in December 2007, and first SPA/BPA contest has been held in Apopka, FL, (Orlando area), in December 2007.

Contest director, Orlando Frets. Orlando and other's have put a lot of organizing work into this chapter. We are now approaching RC clubs in the state of Florida, recruiting SPA/BPA flyers, to join the SPA, central headquarter's in Alabama. Our goal is to assist, train for SPA flying and club participation contest's. If you are tired of just boring holes in the sky on a weekend, try something different, pattern flying from the 60's and 70's. Many SPA/BPA plane kits are available, and you do not have to spend a fortune to get in. All of Florida is included, we can travel for club meetings, introduction to SPA.
