Like yourself, I just love the lines on a Phoenix. In case you didn't know, kits of the Phoenix 8 is available from The Aztec Airplane Factory at www.aztecair.com. The model has an epoxy glass fuse and foam wing cores are included but they are not sheeted.
If you haven't done so yet, take a look at the thread labeled "Classic Pattern Image Base" posted by casniffer. As of right now it is 6 plus pages of the most awe inspiring pictures of classic pattern planes you will ever find. Casniffer has done an outstanding job of putting the image base together for all of us to enjoy. He also included additional information and even links to build threads to some of the planes.
