well, now bebin the next project: A Gitano, a classic pattern plane. I have a printed plans of Gitano 60.
And:
1. Not only want to scale him, i wish to digitalize in CAD.
2. I'm redesign and build a 46
3. The new design allow lasercut fuselage.
4. The fuselaje is build in ply and balsa.
5. Have transparent canopy.
6. Some back portions of fuselaje are in FOAM cut with CNC
7. Wings in CNC cut FOAM
8. Fixed landing gear
9. Without tuned pipe holding
10. Tail and elevator servos in next to tail set
I have a OS 46AX for him

Congratulations skyracer,
Very nicely executed! Did you do the wood laser-cutting yourself or have it done for you?
How does it fly???

Great looking plane Franklin, I was wondering if this plane is considered in the F3A category or its just a classic one, im more inclined to the second one.
Having a lasser cutter makes things simpler and easier building since all parts fit just right.
Keep up the building and let us know.

Thanks for share your nice Gitano 46 design.
Do you have available an AutoCad file of Gitano suitable for CNC cutting. In your first post they are the yellow and red sections all fit to wood sheet size. I can find ply and balsa CNC laser cutting service in my town and I would like to quote one assembling kit.
In advance thank you very much
