Default Christmas in April!

i played santa claus to myself this week[sm=tongue_smile.gif]. not one but two very nice MK kits became available and i was able to purchase both of them. the 1st is a Silent st (120 4c) and the 2nd is a Wild Beat (also 120 4c size). the kits are still very neatly packed and the plans appear to have never been unfolded. the quality is simply amazing. pictures do not do the parts justice (and my camera battery died).

the majority of the shaping has already been done on most of the contoured parts, very nice. i know how nice because most of them look very similar to contoured parts i had to hand carve on my blue angel build. then there are the fiberglass belly pans, cowlings, chin parts, the wild beat even has MK retracts. somebody stop me. let's just get to the photos, i'll have more when the camera recharges.

i will take out a few parts and post photos of them strictly to show 8178 how accurate his takeoff was in his Blue Angel thread. the contoured parts are instantly recognizable. except here they are already built[sm=thumbs_up.gif].

Great find!

I think all the Saki I drank while I was cutting and carving the parts helped.

Watched Godzilla movies too!

Congrats on your MK Kits. I believe Singapore Hobbies still have an MK Silent ST last time I"ve checked.
