Does anyone know when this plane was designed and when it flew? I came across it in the classic pattern plane image base an very interested in it. Just some Info if anyone knows. Also are there plans available anywhere.
Thanks

The Salamander is from the Brothers Giezendanner.
The brothers were real pioneers with their electric retracts in the late 60's.
The photo is of Wolfgang Matt and Emil Giezendanner with the men behind Oxai-Professional Models. Wolfgang responds via his website.

The model was spectacularly unsuccessful as an aerobatic airplane, there will not be any plans. Bruno G was the pilot, Emil the engineer. Sadly Bruno died way too young but at least one of his models (Marabu) can still be found, and that model at least won the W/C's twice.
