I totally agree About Jeff's kits. I've got one all framed up and need to finish.

BTW - I've got a copy of the MAN plans and Taurus canopies.

Aerowoof,
Do you have your information already?
If you want, I can send you printfiles to print the wing ribs.
We have to do that by e-mail. Measuring and give me feed back after you print them to check the dimensions.
Let me know what you want.
The formers of the fuse you normally can reconstruct from the drawings you have.

I did get an e-mail about this posts of you because it wasn't understand.
I myself want to response because I think it's about me "Taurus Flyer" and so "off topic".

I show your own post in the thread: Ed Kazmirskis Taurus (Post 1666, page 67, 5/28/2009)

Holy Cow!!! </p>

I've been following this thread since day one and have been amazed with all of the thoughts behind it and have learned a lot. Everyone needs to remember that a lot of the "facts" are based on the evidence that has been brought to light and by the conversations put forth on that evidence. But a lot of it is just conjecture and we all have our thoughts and opinions on this subject. We all have to remember that this is just a hobby that is suspose to be fun. I really like the history behind early R/C and hope this thread calms down to where only constructive posts are added. I obviously don't know what has been going on behind the scenes and I really don't need to know, but the topic at hand needs to remain on topic. Any other conversations should take place behind closed doors and the personal attacks need to cease! (pun not intended) Just my .02 cents.

In the Netherlands we say: Make a better world, start with yourself.

I give you an advice FB, when I read in your post: "Do you think ....... ?" (see the first quote of your post)
It means you are not sure and for me a claqueur.

It is better to ignore this kind of posts of dhal22,

especially because you are starting threads yourself about planes you buy and not even know the name yourself!

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_82...tm.htm#8323460 Go to this thread and see where I rebuilt two wrecked Taurii using Jeff"s(Home and Hobby Solutions) horizontal and vertical stab. I'm sure he would sell you the parts you need. But better still, as mentioned above, buy his whole kit and build a really nice plane. Save yourself all the cutting and buying of balsa and plywood.

airbusdrvr,

We do not repair a Chevy with Toyota parts, so maybe better to post your message here if you want to promote your kit cutter, they ask for your information:

Not everybody wants or needs to be a purist, that's what the hobby is all about. I don't understand why you need to push your agenda and way of thinking on to all that don't agree with your way of thinking or why you have to add negative comments about people buying models they don't know the name of. I don't need to know what it is if it looks like something that I would like to add to my fleet and if I want to start a thread asking for help, well that's what this forum is for. Cees, please stop the bashing, it's getting out of hand.

That's the problem Free Bird, having a opinion.
If you didn't post this message you would have read nothing from me.
I defend my project as I tell you before.

First off, I didn't post the first part of the quote. Second, I wouldn't talk about opinions after you contacted the AMA and the Vintage Society about others and their opinions on the Taurus thread. Don't start throwing stones. Enough said, I'm done.

Free Bird,

That's why I did use "claqueur".
Ignore dhal22, he is trolling.

Remember that, as long as I am convinced that I am right, I will respond the way I do in this situation.
you have to respect that.

FreeBird, I've read the caustic remarks from overseas directed at others and today I became the recipient. Jeff makes a very nice kit, he is very helpful and quick with parts if he has them. I would think someone wishing to have ribs(or more) might avail themselves of his services. After all, it is a Taurus he sells. My "Chevy/Toyota/Or Whatever" Taurus flies just fine with his stabilizer.

airbusdrvr,

In any thread about the Taurus we can read this promotion, even one of you is able to tel the whole world he is on holiday! Clever?
No, I do not think so and when I was a moderator I would have tell you that and delete that post.

My advice!

Stay "on topic " and post in the threads this information is asked.
Maybe I am wrong but I did look in the whole thread I did show you and did not read the name!

David,

make sure you put an anhedral stab on it...

that'll get the juices flowing. Oh... and call it the "Tauruyota build thread"

Shouldn't have done that... me bad.

David.

All kidding aside, I was going to do a build thread of a Top Flite Taurus over the winter. The intent was to build and finish it as one would have back in the early 60s. However since the resident expert won't approve of any of it, the project will stay on the shelf. I don't want to be hammered for trying to enjoy the hobby.
