Default Killer Chaos 60 engine

Morning all,I've got a Killer Chaos 60 kit on the way,and I would like some suggestions for a good engine to power it.I've had good luck with a couple of the OS AX series of engines(the 46 and 55)so I was kinda leaning towards the 75AX.Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance Jim

A OS 55ax would be fine loads of power

It also depends on your flying Experince, if this is your first Kaos start with a OS 55 then if this becomes not quick enough put in a 75

Regards

I had a ST 61X rear exhaust with a tune pipe. Flew great and was rock solid.

I had two Killer Chaoses (sp?), one with a ST S61 and another with an old OS FSR 61. Both had plenty of power to fly the intermediate pattern sequence. The 55AX might be a great choice as both required some tail weight and the 55 should be lighter than either of my engines with comparable power.

Thanks for the replies,I've got the 55AX in a Tower Hobbies 40 size Kaos arf right now.The 55 seems like the perfect engine for the 40 size Kaos, and I did'nt need to add any tail weight to it,I put everything in the stock location as per the build manual.I guess I'll wait and see what the kit looks like.I just don't want to be underpowered!!!Thanks again for your replies.

I have had 2 Killer Kaos` Both flown with a OS 91FX turning a 13X8 APC prop. Try it, you`ll like it!

I really like the OS 91 idea.... POWER! OS just released a 91 AX which is the same mounting as the 75AX, which is the same as the 61. I really want to put one to the test. What do you guys think about it? I am concerned about landind speed due to idle thrust. Maybe speed brakes and flaps...

I flew one for several years with a ST 91 on it, no issues with landing speed. The big thick airfoil takes care of that.
