Default Webra BH 61 muffler/Kaos

pitchin more stuff on my pile of planes to build as i gain more vintage pattern planes.
got a deal on a Super Kaos 60 kit, and another deal on a 2nd Webra Blackhead.
i feel this will be a great combo if kept light.

problem at this point is the muffler for the BH................anyone have one?

summerwind, The answer to your search is to use a muffler from the old K & B 61 engine, the number on my muffler package is 8251. This was told to me by Clarence Lee years ago and I have used this procedure twice. The bolt holes line up perfectly. Someone like Mecoa should have them in stock. Best of Luck. Vetfever

summerwind, Yes it does. You should find that muffler will bolt right up to a Blackhead Webra. Vetfever

Why sell the engine? It should at least be the equal of the Webra Blackhead, which is a good engine too. The early K&B .61 engines with the Perry carbs seemed to put out a bit more power than the later versions, though the later versions were good engines too.

If/when you get it, contact me via PM if you still wish to sell it, please.

The K&B IS an excellent engine - just not all that powerful. Someone once said "the K&B .61 is the best .40 on the market." I remember having a couple when I was a kid. I have many fond memories of those K&B's easy starting, and the most reliable engines I've ever owned.

well back to reality..........gone is the Kaos
and soon to be gone are the ST G60 BH and Webras as this is just gettin too far out of hand.
i'm already involved with the Flea Fli topic and want to produce the kits.
so look for ads if you guys want a couple vintage motors.
