Default Classic Pattern Engines

What was your favorite classic pattern engine? I like them all - Rossi, OS, Webra.... Never owned an Enya.
Was someone looking for a vintage SuperTigre .61 ABC?

Hi,

In 1970th era: Rossi 60 side exhaust and Rossi 61 rear exhaust are my favorites. I had exactly such Rossi 61 FI RC ABC that Rusty posted a picture on. I had it in a Mach 1 - absoutely ballistic performance (on the edge to fast).

Jeff,

not a Rossi - a Picco, a spinoff from OPS (the P stands for Picco). Similar beasts but I believe they were focused even more on raw power.

I never owned either a Picco or an OPS but much like in the Italian Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Lamborghini tradition, the three different companies competed in the production of the most exotic engine.

Shame it has a Perry carb on it, the original slide carbs were very cool.

David.

P.S. Not a bad auction...

i have several ops engines. the pattern and speed versions are both very highly regarded. ops engines virtually own the speed category records.
