What is this?

I believe this is from one of our famous Southern "Gentleman" designers...any ideas?

Mach One...very interesting. Here is a photo (courtesy of the Trenton R/C Flyers Classic pattern image base) of what I think it is...by Ron Chidgey.

I added a Mach One from the above reference site.

I thought it was a Mach 1 too accept the vertical fin area above the rudder looks larger in the glass fuse pictures, than what is shown in the pictures of the mach one.

That kit is about 2 hour's from my house. I sent the picture's to Ron Chidgey at his site, for his opinion. I had a T Tail III here, piped version, blue glass, let it go. The canopy on it was not like this one, but everything else looks about the same, especially since the engine is mounted upright. I was going to take a shot at it, but one of the guy's that is on here is going to bid, I will not go for it. As you know, just put in a high price that you can live with, usually get's what you want. I am in good shape of glass and foam kit's.

I was thinking if this is a T Tail, it could be a "one-off" ? A proto-type unit before regular production ? I think it is something to seriously look at, the repair's, etc. not a problem as you all know.

Hi Rusty
It appears we both have the same question, I agree it looks a lot like the Mach-1. But the Mach has a ridge running from the rear of the canopy all the way back and joins up with the vertical stab.
Are your wings the same as mine? Or do they have trailing edge swept forward like the midwest Mach-1?
Your fuselage is exactly the same as mine.
I started a thread called "Name that plane". http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_99...tm.htm#9906835

I was under the impression that the TT-3's did not have the tail attached?
