Default What was this prop name?

Hi,

Was there a propeller manufacturer Barthel or similar back in the 1970th?
Props from this manufacturer I'm searching the name onwas rather widespread, at least in Europe among F3A flyers.

I had such a prop on my Curare back then and that prop lasted forever and was made of glasfibre, no flex at all, and very good (and expensive)prop.
I know Hanno Prettner also used this prop make back when he flew hisCurare in 1977.

Below is picture of the prop on my Curare back from 1978 and a close picture of Hanno Prettner engine and same prop.

It was a logotype like a propeller (thinline) with an engine seen from front in the middle and the manufacturer name was written under the logotype.

I just want to know the name. I assume the prop manufacturer do not exist anymore.
Someone remember?

Thanks,

Bo

Bo, obviously the props in the two pictures are not the same, both outline and logo. Are you poking fun at us? Ray once said that Hanno used Metterhausen props. He should clarify this one...

The company name was BARTEL(S) They made a wide range of glass and carbon props for control line as well as R/C. I expect Hanno used many makes of props over the years including Bartels when they were considered the best. Here is one of their ads from the 1972-73 Aeromodeller Annual.

Hi,

My prop had red letters and logo that is the only difference really.
Shape: On my prop I had clipped the prop tips a little to get little less noice.
Logo: If You look carefully it is same logotype on both props it is just that on my prop you can not see thelines that is the small propeller since it is so poor quality photo.

Thanks Ray.

Bartels - that's right, now I remember. Then I Googled and found the logotype - see picture below.
