ORIGINAL: doxilia David, make sure you put an anhedral stab on it... :) that'll get the juices flowing. Oh... and call it the ''Tauruyota build thread'' Shouldn't have done that... me bad. David. In your thread: “Scaled Tiporare plans” I read you are interested in anhedral stabs just as you mentioned in the post. ORIGINAL: doxilia Post shortened by Taurus Flyer Anhedral: Here's a good question for designers. In fact it would be a good question for Dick and Dave Brown as they made many tests with the Tipo and anhedral angles. People flying the 60 size here might have some comments too (e.g., 8178). Hanno Prettner would also be a good person to ask :D. It'd be interesting to hear their thoughts on angles for the reduced scales. Shortened, TF Keep us posted! David. I nearly always did fly with own design airplanes and already in 1975 /1980 I did fly with anhedral stabs. I still have my 2 meter contest glider of that period, see the pictures. If you are interested in a detailed description, let me know, because it is not really “on topic” and not pattern. Cees |

Neilmac52,
On 28 May 2009. in the Ed Kazmirski's Taurus, Post 1656 page 67, I did give you the explanation of my program to reconstruct the wingribs of the Taurus. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_76...tm.htm#8805179 Because nobody did help Aerowoof, we are trying to generate the wingribs back over the ocean from the Netherlands tot the USA. There are some e-mail communication problems but the program is ready to generate the exact copies of all the ribs. For that I did have to change the output from metric to inches and recalibrate the axes. If you still are interested in the wingribs let me know and I will try to deliver you also the drawings The picture is an example of the situation now. Cees |
RE: Taurus plans
ORIGINAL: Taurus Flyer Free Bird, That's why I did use ''claqueur''. Ignore dhal22, he is trolling. Remember that, as long as I am convinced that I am right, I will respond the way I do in this situation. you have to respect that. Cees http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_82...tm.htm#8323460 And, of course also for you, when you need the wingribs of the MAN Taurus , let me know. Cees |
