There are outlets for electricity so you can plug in your fans. It is supposed to be quite nice tomorrow though. 79 degrees and winds 10-15 MPH

Thank You KEN HOPSON for your exemplary unselfish act in withdrawing from the race to drive JasonD to the Clinic Emergency Room for his finger (4 sutures) and thumb (2 sutures) medical attention after the accident on the starting line. The Dudas will always be grateful! Unfortunately both crashed their planes after returning to the contest.
Congratulations to the winners in E-F1 and Club 40, especially Jason Oliver who won both events with textbook flying.

I wanna thank our Buddy and friend Ken Hopson as well.....We all could learn from his unselfish act. Thank you to the Hotmac guys for puttin on a great contest with good friends all there. Tyler King was awesome til his little crash while flying about 5 ft off the ground. You guys better watch out for this kid. We all hope his dad is ok.Tylers dad was our starter and was hit in the back by an airplane on the take off lap. I wanna thank the best caller in the world Jason Duda.....People only see what the pilot does and never really look at the caller. I have the best caller in the world and couldnt have won without him having me on the pins all day. This was after he came back from the hospital with stiches in 3 different fingers. Jason Duda is a class act and great friend. Thanks lil J .........

Just kidding,,,
Thanks again to Ken!! a true friend to us all!! I had a pretty good day, and have to thank JOliver for good calling all day. Making the B-main on a back up plane, after a year off is a personal win. I also have to thank OldBob for the smile and handshake after I T-boned his plane going into #1 for the lead. I think the engine was the biggest single piece to hit the ground, the rest looked like someone dumped a paper shredder out at about 35 feet.
Thank You to all my racing friends/family, I'm glad to be back.

It’s for sure that Ken Hopson took first place at the event for helping an injured buddy, no doubt about it. Thanks Ken for helping Jason in his time of need.
But second place surely goes to Brock King, the starter, for dodging, an errant plane on takeoff that came too close for comfort. Brock’s dive for safety resulted in a sever back injury from falling backwards on the concert to avoid being hit by the
plane. Brock has a “cherry red bruise” on his lower back the size of an NFL football, which has earned him the nickname of “cheerybottom”.
Thank you Cheerybottom.

Thanks for all the accolades from everyone! Everyone of you would have done the same thing if I wasn't there. Thanks to the Waco bunch for the race. I'm looking forward to the race in June at Georgetown and I hope I can make it around #1 pylon this time! LOL

Charles Bales wife Deborah got some excelent photos of the "Waco Crash" that will be talked about for years to come. I have forwarded them on to several of the racers and will try to post them on here.

See what happens when slower traffic stays in the passing lane.
Ya know I was thinking about it, I've put "Beauty Boy" Tim Purcell, "Big Dog" Mike Walther, and now "Old Bob" Petrinec, into the ground. Two more and I'm an ACE!!!!!!!
