I recently aquired a Kyosho Hyperfly it's like an r/c helicopter that is flown like an airplane and before I trash it trying, has anyone flown one ? have tips for me on it ? I just don't want to trash it trying to learn. Any input would be appreciated. I have the radio hooked up great and the blades tracking good. Any experienced would be great. Thanks for the info in advance .

The Hyperfly is lifts off from a hand launch and lands more like an airplane than a heli. The product is no longer sold but based on its configuration, you should be fine launching it in a grassy park and flying it until the batteries are out of juice (it will slowly descend as the batteries wear down). You should have received an instructional video with the product. Give that a look or two and have fun!

You might want to have an experienced heli pilot accompany you on your first few flights.
