RE: Minneapolis Hobby shops
Hey Robert! Be sure to hit Hobby Warehouse. It's right near the airport at:
7144 Chicago Avenue
Minneapolis, MN 55423-3301
(612) 861-5587
It's off Hwy 494. If you're going east on 494, it's the Portland Ave exit and if you're coming west on 494 it's the 12th St exit.
Are you busy tomorrow night? I can meet you for dinner.

RE: Minneapolis Hobby shops
Hobby Warehouse is actually in Richfield, which is a Minneapolis suburb. It's just west of the airport.
Hub Hobby is in Richfield, too. It's more of a general hobby shop (games, toys, trains, arts, etc.) that also has an RC section. Hub occasionally has an out of production kit or two in the stacks of kits and ARFs at the back.
Big Sky Hobby is in Eagan, which is 10 minutes south east of the airport. Easily my favorite of the three shops in the immediate area.
