i was wondering if it could be the thread i started over 6 years ago and is still going strong. 848 pages with 21,190 posts to date. even though i check into it 3-4 times per week i am not very active in the thread. but i still LOVE it ! The lounge in the cars off topic section sure gets a lot of action. I think once a thread gets a certain size it has to be locked and started again. The lounge is up to version 4 and it is always on the homepage in the "most active threads" section.

I would've guessed that annoying "Still struggling with single rotor basics" in the heli forum- it's well over 300 pages. Everytime I see it I think, "really, you're STILL struggling? You should just give up on flying helicopters then, jeez."
