New Experience with Electric Model
Hi,
Aside from an electric glider, (where the motor is only used to gain altitude to search for lift), I've been a "glow and petrol" modeller since the 1950's. In recent times I've maidened a number of electric models for others and taught some beginners on electrics but wasn't tempted to buy one. A few weeks ago one of my mates, who like me also flys pattern, bought a Stryker and handed me the Tx. I liked flying this model so much I bought one so I could really ring it out and wow!!! This is the most fun I've had with my clothes on in years. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy my other models but the snaps, inverted flat spins and high alpha/harrier landings into the breeze with the Stryker see surgical intervention required to remove the smile from my face. If you want pure fun and are a reasonably proficient flyer my suggestion is to try one of these.
Cheers,

I love my Stryker. It sounds like you have the F27Q version? Mine is a C version but I built new verticals and added rudders to make it a Q. It's my go to airplane for the park or anytime the wind is just too crazy to risk one of my balsa models.
