Default RE: HOBBY king going down the tube?

Ordered a Dragon Fly EDF from Hobby King hereafter known as Hobby Krap.
The motor in the combo offer is wrong for the model (another $25.04).
The fan duct does not fit the fuse.
There were no instructions.
The adapter shaft for the motor was missing.

They sent me the usual response with the take the photo /jump through
the Chinese Monkey Circus hoop act. I am NOT doing that.
I did not have to do that when I placed the order.
I asked what if I wanted to just take the pic and leave out the part if I was being dis-honest?
No answer to that question.

They sent me an email saying the matter was solved.
News to me. I guess they no longer need customers.
Isn't this how Hobby City died?
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER!
Don't expect them to act responsibly for anything!

If you payrd them with Pay Pal or a credit card then you have recourse. Call Pay Pal or your credit card company and tell them what happened and file a dispute. HK will either have to send you what you paid for or give you a refund. And they will try to get you to drop the claim at some point. Don't do it, stand your ground because the only thing you are guilty of is trusting them to send you what you paid for. They didn't do that so they owe you a refund.

Too bad the refund will be "store credit".

Won't do you any good to give them a hard time. Every shill they own will be jumping in here telling you what great service and great treatment they have gotten over the last 5 years and how great Hobby Krap is. You will be tramped on, and degredated. It will be all your fault that you got screwed.

Just so they can collect their $100 check.

Yeah but it will get them some negative attention, I kinda like it. They deserve that at least.

As long as it takes to prevent another unsuspecting hobbyist from getting ripped off by Hobby King. As P.T. Barnum said, "There is a sucker born every minute". And this is the philosphy that Anthony Hand operates Hobby King with. People need to do the research before spending thier hard earned money on products that are ripped off copies of companies that did the R & D, the selling of products with no quality control or customer service. Avoiding, evading and ignoring customer with problems with the products that were sold to them by Hobby King until the customer gives up. Or persuading the customer to cancel their complaint until the 45 day limit with Paypal has expired.

Stop beating a dead horse? Not yet!

Frank

I like you too Jim, We just have different opinions of Hobby King. Other than that, you're a pretty neat guy.

Just think of all the customer service claims they could have solved instead of sending those out.

Wow- your mail is slow. I got mine three weeks ago-alot of great deals and more name brand items, JR, Sullivan, Futaba, and many others at better prices than the US distributors. Buy offshore and save money.
