I can get on the site but when I go to the CLASSIFIEDS page it says in bold print:

"THE BOARDS ARE TEMPORARILY DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE"

Wha da ya no,, RCU isn't the only site that has glitches.

4 days and counting is seriously temporary,, I think they had a server crash,, When I logged on the first morning of the issue I got a "can't connect to data base" measage, Later that day they put up that place holder.

The rest of the site is up. They have a 'contact us' link on the site. What was their reply when you asked for a status?

As for the first part of your question, some people bought it out and took it over, which really hosed the place.
