Default Vess Prop Delamination

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before? Over the weekend I maidened a 37.5% Pilot yak powered by an old blue head 3W 150. Just a 5 min test flight for trim and settings, no hard maneuvers or 3d as it was the maiden. Afterwords I was shocked to see the prop was broken at the laminating point. It looks as though it just let go at the seam, cant imagine if this would have happened in a 3d routine! Never seen this before with any manufacturer, just wondering how often this occurs?

I've been using his for years now and have never seen a brake like that even if I hit the landing hard. Dennis

Just talked to Vess, offered to replace at no cost, thats customer support! Still the question is how often does this happen, with any brand prop?

I've only had one CF prop split at the tip, never a wood. I'm sure no one else has either. Dennis
