Field pictures
Two or three or so months ago there was a thread concerning aerial views of your flying sites. All you had to do was provide the coordinates and you could get a picture of the area. Been looking and cannot find that thread. Help!! TIA, Tom

RE: Field pictures
depfife...I remember this thread well. I thought what I was looking for was in one of the posts, but I didn't see it. There was a link to a site that, if you gave them lat and long, they had pictures available. Don't know if it was a NASA site or NOAA or what. Would appreciate any further help. Thanks, Tom

RE: Field pictures
Tom, Also try Map Quest. Just put in an address of the field, or one of a neighbor in close proximity. When the map comes up just click on the "aerial photo" tab (if its available for that location).
For our field I found the Map Quest photo to be much better than the terraserver.
