Has anyone out there ever added weight to wing tips to add stability in high wind?? I have a 1/4 sized Champ high wing from nitro planes and in any wind over 6 mph it gets tossed around like popcorn in a popper.. the plane weighs 15 lbs and the wings are really light and a lot of area for the wind to do what it wants.. any suggestions appreciated.. the plane flies great in no wind or very little wind conditions, it will take off in 2 feet with less than half throttle, it just gets tossed so easily..
