I have had 3 of these now with bad results. (All AR636A receivers). The last one will not bind to my DX8 although "regular" receivers bind with ease. The previous one: while flying straight and level the plane suddenly did a forward flip and spiraled into the ground with no control. Both batteries had full charges and have been normal since. All Spektrum product people can say is " I don't know. Send us the receiver and we'll see" Anybody else have this problem or any knowledge of it?

It would help if you said which airplane and did they come with the reciever or did you buy the as3x reciever for a reason. Naturally the as3x must be pre programmed prior to flight after binding i assune you did that? But you said you couldnt get it to bind then said it did a forward flip? Not sure i follow...

I lost an E-Flight 70mm F16 Thunderbird due to lost of signal/control - twice. The first time I though it must have been a problem with the battery or the ESC, but could never reproduce the complete and sudden loss of power and control. Rebuilt the plane flew it several times. Just today, had the plane drop power and control again, just as I was making my final turn. Lost it in the trees. Two other people at the field lost planes with this exact receiver. Same thing, sudden loss of power and control.
