Default H-Ray new kir in box mising wheels

On e-bay there is a H-Ray AMCO kit in the box missing the wheels for $75.00.

Is this a good buy? I understand it was a great trainer and an easy kit to build. I searched this site and I think this plane has a following. Just letting everyone know,as I don't have the money or time to build it.

If it's a full kit, and is complete and unbuilt, it did not come with wheels. Kits of that era generally did not come with wheels, fuel tank, pushrods, hinges, and other hardware. Some did. However, even kits with "complete" hardware packages usually did not include wheels, fuel tank, and engine mount (unless it was a wooden mount that was built-in during construction).

Yep. Those were the days when you buy a $100 kit, and then buy $75-100 worth of what you need to finish it!

I do not believe they ever came with wheels. They do make for great flying airplanes. Good Luck, Dave
