To Flyboy - thanks for the opinion - I'm ordering mine Sat. I'm not sure why but i just have this thing for Futaba.
I still have my original radio that's 20 yrs plus and use it in a sailboat (never even been serviced. I have another that is 12 yrs + and never been serviced and works great. They just never seem to wear out and they never have anything go wrong!!!!! Maybe that's why I like Futaba.

UPDATE: Well, looks like Christmas is coming early, my EVO 12 will be here Wednesday. This is first time I have heard of any probs with MPX, and hope they are untrue. However, I would never take the way a TX handles on a PC and compare it with actual flight. When you fly, your not connected to the plane from the TX via a cable such as a pc, and the plane doesn't have windows software installed in it, freezing, and erroring out .

The usualy "required" Christmas gift for me is always, a couple of bottles of ZAP glues and some kicker. Also a package or two of 100 count #11 blades. If I am really good, Santa will usually bring me a few Scale documentation books from a list I supply on the refrigerator door!
