OK, here, I am just starting to upload, going to scan a bunch to disc tomorrow so I can load them there and have them on disc incase this place dissapears next

Here, this is what I made my father in law for Christmas, know what it is?? The orange valve will dissapear when I get the proper one in. Needless to say he was VERY HAPPY.

If you want a pic to appear here just type something in the text portion and then go below to the ATTACH FILE area. Browse your hard drive and then click on the pic you want and then post the message. If the pic is too big it will let you know. Marc has a link to an image re-sizer. I think its in the Boad usage and tips forum at the very top of all the forums.

all my pics on disc are too big, thats why I want the online place, easy to dink with and I am not editing my origional pic, yahoo must not let you directly show pics here

I just tried it every which way I could think of, and can't get it to work. The link to the pictures is different than most. I tried editing the link multiple ways, but nothing worked.

Just link them directly from your hard drive. Then they'll show up in the body of the post.

But that requires too much effort. It's more fun linking to an image on a page.

I know what the problem is....if a link has some control characters like "?" or escape characters \ for example the link won't show up here. This is for security purposes. If you allow those symbols in links a hacker could try to insert malicious code and who knows what might happen.

I had this turned on for awhile but turned it off again to alleviate risk. Some links to sites on other website will of course work but it depends on what symbols appear in the URL.

Hope that explains things.

I'm evaluating some photo gallery stuff for here too. Not sure if I should add it here or just put links to the yahoo photos and other good photo storage sites already on the web. If they were here I could put a gallery link under each post and in a users profile leading to their pictures for the ads they post and just general picture galleries that user's want to keep here of their rc stuff.
