150 Magazines!
At our annual club Christmas Dinner, I was sitting with one of the senior members of the club I belong to and his wife.
I got talking to his wife about being new to this country and being relatively new to this hobby and she said that her husband had years of R/C magazines stored away in his garage and that he might like to give them to me so I can build up my knowledge of the hobby quickly.
Well I got talking to them and finally agreed I would take all of his R/C Report magazines.
So I went around there today on my way home from the field and instead of just the R/C Report magazines, I ended up with Model Airplane News and Radio Control Modeller too!
So all up I now have the last three years worth of Model Airplane News, the last four years worth of Radio Control Modeler and the last three years of R/C Report and also a whole stack of R/C reports from way back in 1992/1993.
Boy have I got some reading to do now!
It goes to show how good people in this hobby can be. I very much appreciate the magazines and Bob if you are reading this, thank you.

Old Magazines
Several years ago all the club members (where I belonged) bundled up all the old magazines we had a sent them by Greyhound to Boys Town USA.
I guess we will never know if we harvested a pilot or two out of the bunch.
There are many youth centers around the country.
