What does "S. R. E." stand for in the name "Waco S. R. E."? Thanks, folks.

S.R.E. means:
"S": it is powered by a 420-450hp P&W Wasp Jr engine
"R": the airframe is from the 1939 E series
"E": it is a variant of the basic model 10 with OX-5 or OXX-6 and "Executive" cabin models from 1939
