The real reviews occur here and on other RC Forums..I look at a magazine review to get an idea of what a plane looks like..I take most of the actual review with a grain of salt..You cant really blame the magazines..they need the advertising money..

If a magazine publishes a product review and says it is a good product when it is not - or have flaws - just for the advertizing money, why should anyone subscribe it?
If they endorse all products sold by the advertisers, why should we buy and read the magazine?
We need the magazines to tell us what is good or bad in any product they review. If they are not honest in doing so, let's the magazine die. No company will advertise in a magazine without readers.
So, it is for the own good of the manufacturers to have a honest magazine doing honest reviews, otherwise a direct mail flyier will do the trick.
My 2 cents.
