Sometimes it's nice to have a place to vent your frustrations. And the anonymity of an on-line forum makes it an ideal place to do so.

As long as it is RC related I think it is OK. Try visiting some of the other forums online. Then you will see some real nonsense. Nothing RC just a bunch of BS.

There are many people who cannot get off the What about me? topic.

Or how about the standard free speech! my rights are being violated! IT"S ALL ABOUT ME!!!

Because RCU has the largest RC membership on the whole internet combined, it's a perfect breeding ground for every crackpot with a personal agenda.

We must accept this as a part of being number one, you can't please all the people all the time.

All 30 or so moderators and admins are proud to serve the userbase and members here at RCU, who are here to share the RC hobby.

We don't however, allow RC'rs with personal agendas a place to rant, there are other websites better suited for those who wish to do so.

These are just my opinions, use 'em if you like.

Doug: Mikey flies up at Skagit. Now I was flying out at Cascade but took the year off and will be flying out at Monroe next year. been to Nimitz many times and also spend a lot of time at Tim's, not to mention money!!!!

can relate to the money thing at tims. seen cascade beautiful feild but too expensive for me to join. where is the monroe feild, is that big birds? and i like the guys at nimits, this will be my 2nd year at nimitz (and flying) wife just recently cut my flying budget off. have 14 planes, just not enough for me yet. dont even have a 60 size yet.

I haven't forgotten ya John. I don't fly at Cascade for the same reason, way to much money. The one in Monroe is the Barnyard Buzzards and it's a nice filed and not pricey. Some good guys out there to boot. I did belong to SRAC but the field is to small and that's a shame as most of my friends belong to it. SIGH!!!!!

While we do have some folks who do complain and seem more concerned with themselves, by far most of the posts are good and genuinely helpful. This place has been a real blessing for me. I've gotten help on many things. And while I "lurk" more than post I feel the good far outweighs the very few "bad seeds."

Thanks for everyone who makes this site possible and to all the members who take time to answer all the questions for us newbies.

After making this post ( I we) find out that this is not a private battle . FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND THE RIGHTS TO DEFEND OUR RIGHTS . This is a way to express our thoughts with out serious conflict. Most people do not know each other and this is the way to express them selves, Our clubs, our youth, AMA, and model avition need our support.
