Where everyone Live?
I live in Phoenix. We just had a Quickie 500 Race. Lordy those little suckers are fast!!!
We have a little cold weather it got down to 68. Burrrrr! It rained the other day. I ran outside to look. I forgot what rain was like.
Got my tomatoes set out and the drippers set up. Then kicked back on the back patio with a big glass of OJ from the trees.

Where everyone Live?
I live in Broome in Western Australia. We are currently in our monsoonal wet season and its very hot and humid, although hadn't had much rain until Saturday night, where we copped 8 inches of rain in 8 hours. Our field will be a little wet for the next week or two so looks like we won't be going flying for awhile.
Regards,
Troy.
P.S. I would love some of that snow JDHammer.

I could have sworn I lived in northern Wisconsin but for the last two months it's been more like Siberia. Single digits again this week for the high and twenty seven below at night. Hey Visioneer-One want to trade places?? Please! I'll throw in a couple of snowmobiles two boats and a couple drawers full of long underware.

Laramie Wyoming
I took my electric sailplane out this morning it was -22 degrees below zero. Plane gets good lift in cold weather sometimes I even find thermals. It is better in the short summer

Where everyone Live?
I'm from Bloomington, Minnesota. Surprise, eh? It's a bit too cold to fly here, but usually I'll go out to a nearby lake and fly once during the winter.
Here's a photo of the field I fly at. It's a county park, and costs a whole $15 per year to fly. They even do the mowing for us. It's not usually very crowded, with only 5 or so of us there at any given time.
Let's see some photos of your flying sites, guys!

San Diego, California...America's Finest City. But don't come to see for yourself, or you might agree and stay, and there's enough of us here already.

BROOME AEROMODELLERS CLUB
Well heres a pic of our field with club members in the background.
Our field is situated within a cattle export holding yard so we have to dodge the odd cow or two. Usually they are quite good and clear off to another paddock when we turn up. On the day the photo was taken we weren't flying because it was too windy, so the cattle started to gather around us.
The runway is a full scale dirt strip that was built by the local airport to be used by light aircraft whilst they carried out runway extensions to the main airport. They used it for twelve days and then left, so the owners of the land allowed us to setup a club within the field and use the runway.
Lets see some other flying field photos.
regards,
Troy.
