RE: FSA Yearly Due's - Poll
The only problem I have with increasing the current dues substantially for the purpose of funding the field relocation costs is the fact that the new field location hasn't yet been secured. It's highly likely that it won't be within a few miles of the current location. And if the new field is located farther from member's homes than neighboring club's, many members may choose to switch to those clubs instead of remaining an FSA member. So how fair is it to increase dues for those members?
Asking for a new club initiation(relocation) fee of say $100 when the field is relocated could be a solution to the money problem. Assessing this fee to new members who would join the club because the new field is closer to their homes may help out as well.
