Here are a few pics of my latest, and smallest project to date. It's a Lanier Stinger 10. I've done a few mods, as you can see in the pics. Power will be an OS .25, and I've made the necessary 3D mods to the tail surfaces.
Here's my question and my plea.... I don't have the aluminum gear that the kit comes with. I got a good deal on the complete kit at a swap ($20), but the only part missing was the aluminum gear. Everything else was there, but alas, no gear.
I've tried posting a Wanted To Buy ad on the For Sale/WTB forums, to no avail. .... To my plea...Anybody have any they want to get rid of? Crashed is fine, as long as they're straight. Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?
I didn't buy the kit new, so it's not in my conscience to call up Lanier and tell them I didn't get them with my kit. That would be dishonest, and not an option.
I don't want to buy them from Lanier...they're only $8.99 direct from them, plus $7.99 shipping! $17 negates the good deal I got on the kit, and since I fly giants mostly, I probably wouldn't have gotten it without the bargain price.
Here's a few pics, and I hope this'll jog someone's memory. Thanks for looking, and if someone doesn't come up with something soon, I'll have to start up the "5 word posts" thread again...

Why not try your local hobby shop??? Mine carries a wide assortment of gears, and can order most anything else. Heck, if all else fails, go down to your local hardware store and buy some strip aluminum. Make sure has a good thickness. I bought a 5 foot strip for $6 for heli gear once. If I had a way to ship some to you, I'd give you what I have left.
