well i finallygot my h9 cherokee running pretty great on sunday.i got to take it up and land it pretty well. refueled and then took it up again. did some beginer loops n rolls, then tried to land but had to abort, plane did not seem to be responding right. so i said to my self,"self you need to land quickly"..so i made the pattern and when i leveled off on the short final it dove hard left.....
this being my first lose.i was shocked alittle. the fuse can be fixed but the wing is a total lose....now must find plans or something to rebuild it.....
going to send tx and rx in to be checked out... well i hope to do better next time.....have a good time ....hope to post pic's in my gallery tuesday.....spooner

hey there buchtes..yes i have gone through the instructor flying and have been solo for 4 months( not saying i'm an expert)....what i meant by "beginner loops and rolls" is that they were slow to see how the plane did in them.... i was just getting used to the plane it only had 5 flights on it 3 of which i flew it...
i know i'm still a newbie and have lots to learn yet...after talking to some people i think i stalled it on final and thats what happened i think....thanks for replying to my little story.....spooner

For every good, there is a bad,, And for every bad, there is a
good.. While it sucks that your plane got hurt, now you know
better next time you fly... So it has been a good learning
experience.. And the best part, the training wheels are off,
and you are on your own.. You will only improve and have more
fun.. The very reason we do this,, well, and to avoid house work
and spousal interference..
