RE: 1.5 oz carbon
No, I don't.
I knew some people who contracted one of the German carbon weaving mills to make some 50g/m^2 (1.5oz)... it came to something like $300/m^2.
[link=http://www.modelresearchlabs.com/]MRL[/link] has 2.6oz for a pricey $176/yd^2. [link=https://www.cstsales.com/home.htm]CST[/link] and [link=http://www.acp-composites.com/]ACP[/link] don't normally have anything lighter than 2.9oz. [link=http://www.r-g.de/]R&G[/link] in Germany has 93g/m^2 (2.7oz)for $65/m^2 and [link=http://www.carbon-vertrieb.com/]Carbon Vertrieb [/link] (also in Germany) has 66g/m^2 (1.9oz) for a remarkable $49.60/m^2.
