Pro Bond And Fiberglass
Has anyone tried using Pro Bond Polyurethane glue and fiberglass together? As far as trying to adhere bulkheads to fiberglass fuselages. Will it work??

PRO BOND
I realize that it will foam up and was thinking that it would help fill any voids there may be between the formers and the glass fuse.
My question is that I know it needs to penetrate the surface to make a good bond, now having said that will it adhere and give a good bond on the glass itself?

Probond
I have used it without any problems on a fibre fuse. I first tried it with a small test piece and tried to pull it apart and couldn't.
Let me know how you like it.

ProBond on fiberglass
Dr. Mark Drela performed a stress test on a carbon fiber spar cap laminated with a urethane glue.
The part came de-laminated at the carbon-urethane joint. This test seems to show that urethane glue isn't as strong as epoxy on composite structures.
I know you asked about fiberglass, but the epoxy fiberglass matrix is similar to C.F.
Feel free to experiment, but if you have epoxy, you may want to use it instead.
Be sure to rough up the fiberglass surface with sandpaper before gluing.

Pro Bond
Tom, about the only thing I have found that Pro Bond is good for,,, is bagging balsa skins to a foam core. Another option might be to use Zap-a Dap Goo. That stuff will bond anything to anything just about.
But in most cases, regular old epoxy works best! Keep in mind about the curing times,,, The longer the stronger
