Default How to repair lexan?

I have a 25% yak and after a few flights the canopy has started to crack right at the wood base. What would be the best way to repair this area?

Thanks

First drill a very small hole at both ends of the crack to stop it from spreading.

I would the put GOOP on the inside of the crack, then touch up the paint if it on the outside. If it's painted on the inside I'd use bathtub caulk and leave it like that.

I used Goop to attach a custom vacuum formed Lexan canopy, BIG MISTAKE !!!!!!!!!!

Thousands and thousands of cracks appeared all around an inch away from the Goop within hours, so I had to rip the new canopy off and toss it. []
I think it had to do with the MEK solvent fumes from the Goop.

Some cheap non-Lexan canopy's don't seem to be affected.

I have found that you can repair a canopy crack by appling clear adhesive vinyl sign material from a sign shop to both sides. You cannot hardly see the repair when it is done.
