Fiberglassed ugly stick
I'm thinking of building an ugly stick and fiberglassing the plane so i could paint it. I'm thinking that it should be a foam core wing. Is this a good idea? Does any one have some links to a project similar to this? Would i have to reinforce the foam core wing with a carbon fiber tube?
Thanks Shaun
Thanks Shaun

Shaun,
You may want to check out the Q-500 pylon forum.. Q-500 planes are essentially a stick with a V-Tail and a thinner wing.. A lot of guys, including myself, do a foam core wing and glass/paint..
