Default Best Glue or material for makeing raised rivets.

I saw a plane done with UHU glue, but what is UHU glue. I don't want flush rivets. I want them raised a little so I don't have to make panel lines. Like the ones found at this site.

Default Rivet Glue

RC-56
RC-560

Or any "Canopy Glue" will work fine.

It's a tedious method, but looks fantastic!

Hope this helps,

Craig

I have canopy glue, what about Sig wood glue. I'll test them both and see how I like it.Yes it will be a tedious task, but so worth the result. More suggestions welcome.

I have just finished testing several glues for raised rivits and found Franklin Titebond II to work the best. least amount of shrinkage and bonds good. If you want flatter rivits, add a little water to the mix. The canopy glues form a good rivit but soft and rubber like. Charlie

I'll look online and order some. Ya canopy glue is soft. I tested some earlier.

You can find Titebond II glue at most any building supply store such as Home Depot or Lowe's.

Woodglue through a diabetic needle, add more water to the glue to thin and flatten. Use this on all my Warbirds.
