This video is the result of a recent collaboration between myself using the trusty Magician on sixty footers with throttled Forty FP and a skilled/responsible Quad operator as well as an RC flyer with a DJI Phantom 3 I think.
The flight was planed to cover the flight from virtually all angles averaging the closest about twenty feet outside the sixty foot hemisphere. I have not seen any controlline footage quite this good ever, so hope you enjoy and by the way no sappy music.

Almost forgot our wheelchair friendly circle is also illustrated. Just one more picture to post is our newest circle flyer Jason also recent has his shirt tail cut and run up the flag pole on his first controlline solo. Pics up in a few I hope.

Thank you very much Londke3 and welcome to RCU. I agree with you Combat videoed using that technique would be fantastic and offer a new look for those contemplating a new venue.
Another place I think that would be a wonderful new look at various form of control line racing with the pit stops and all the action with a new look.
Cheers

Mike Willcox published several tapes/discs of F2D contests where the main camera angle was about 100ft high and 100ft from the center of the circle. It gave a very clear view of all the action with the added advantage that most of the time the perspective tended to show a view that kept the top or bottom of the wings in sight and against the grass background, making it much easier to follow. Very little action where the planes were edge on and nearly invisible.

Wow I forgot about this vid, I need to get together with the gentleman who did the subject vid with his equipment since that one was done my turbine powered Senior Cadet that flys both RC and controlline has since been fully tested in all it combinations and it would be fun to make another vid with that ship on the controlline circle.
