Hey Control Line guys! Just got back into Control Line after being out for 5 years. Got a few .049's goin, I am a big fan of the Brodak kits. I also have a couple .35 sized planes, many others in here fly .049?

COOPERFLYING,
I have a Bluetail Fly (from 1956) built from magazine plans almost finished. Needs wheels and trim paint. Haven't worked on it for awhile.

I have a few 1/2A kits from Brodak that I flew pretty much, especially the Baby Flite Streak, .061 Norvel, and the Baby Clown with Norvel .049. They are lots of fun. I perfer flying the full bodies stunt ships a lot more though, but 1/2As are fun.-

Hi Folks
I have just got back into C/L after a 25 plus years in R/C. The TF Nobler did it for me - flies far better than I am able and better than anything I had when I was a kid. Say what you like about ARTFs but it got my interest going again and I have built 3 Brodak Galaxys over the last couple of months to fly in beginners stunt next year. Not sure if this is a trend that some of the dome merchants will want to hear about. At the UK Nats last year I spoke with a number of people who seeing me flying control line remarked how they wouldn't mind having a go again. Time will tell if this happens but I have a strange feeling that the crop of recent ARTFs could result in increased interest. One possible reason - it's fun and flying a stunt pattern is a real challange. No intention of giving up R/C but will continue to enjoy both.

Cheers

Kevin

C/L is alot cheaper than R/C. But I also enjoy R/C and C/L, Nothing better than a nice calm day when I get to fly both!!!

Glad to hear you are back. What took so long? Should not ask as I strayed away for a little while. You know the old story, work and family. I see you are not that far from me, also there are some people in the Joplin area. If in KC area look me up John E. Holliday. John Bender, Bill Crane and I fly at Argosy Casino. Later, DOC
