Default needle valve

hi,

i took out my needle valve to put in to my m8s .49 engine i screwed it in and took it out and it was bent at the tip i seem to have strainted it out but does it have to be dead straight(i have had my engine runnimg scince it was bent)

My guess would be that you screwed it in too far if the needle was bent. Evidently it doesn't have to be perfectly straight, otherwise your engine wouldn't run. Sounds like you answered your own question.
