Pipe,
I noticed you're flying CL in the MSP area. I used to fly at a community college East of Apple Valley.
There was a guy who was into CL about that time who wound up working for SIG. Designed a couple of CL plane kits for them. I flew with him a bit.
Where are they flying CL up there now?

My Feedback: (1)
The C/L clubs are pretty much scattered far and wide. My group, the [link=http://www.pistonpoppers.com]Piston Poppers[/link] hails from the Twin Cities metro area. We meet on the last Thursday each month at the EAA building at the Anoka Airport in Blaine, MN.
Visit our web site. Send me a PM with your email address and I can forward our latest NL to you.
There is another group up toward Duluth and another over in Fargo, ND. I'm sure we're the most active C/L club in MN.
Was Mike Pratt the guy you flew with up here? Gone now but still involved in the C/L scene.

Thanks for the info.
Yup, Mike was the boy. He was wanting to fly competition stunt and looked me up when I moved there. He did some good work while in the industry. I think he helped start a C/L contest that ran at Dakota County Tech College every year. That was back in..... chuckle... uh, back in..... back when the glaciers were digging out all them lakes.
