Default Looking for Fox 15x head

After dusting off some 30 year old engines to do some C/L flying again, I found one of my Fox 15s (angle plug head) has a stripped glow plug hole. This engine was always a good runner and I would like to repair if and use it again if for nothing but nostalgic reasons. The actual Fox # is 11502. I have searched around and can't seem to locate one. I guess I have been out of it for too long. Learning that many Fox and Cox engines were no longer available has me feeling like the guy at the end of Planet of The Apes!!! I do have some old planes in good condition that I plan to fly again soon, like a Ringmaster Jr. with a pristine Fox 25 bushing, A Combat Cat with an OS 35S, a Lil' Satan with a Cox 049, and a Flite Streak with a Fox 35. I am looking for a Jr Nobler too. If anyone could steer me in the right direction I would surely appreciate it!!!

Scott,

If you can't find any joy at the Fox Mfg website, try calling the factory (during Ft Smith, Arkansas working hours.)

The website doesn't list everything that might be found at the factory, and there's at least one 'old hand' in parts there who has scored some wonders for people.

Luck!

Happy 2007

Scott,
Your request sent me to my Fox parts drawer. I thought that I hada new 15X head in the package. I did find a used one loose in my collection. It appears to have good threads. The finish is not shiny but the surfaces are clean. It looks as if the gasket is new. Yhe head is used but in pretty good shape. If Fox did not have one send me a P.M. with your address; and you can have it for the cost of postage. I am in Alaska so the mailing distance is zone 8. I will find my tap and check the threads before I send it. I will also check the local HS for a new one .He has a box full of odd Fox parts.

Thank you so much for the post and offer, but after contacting Fox, I was able to buy one for $10. I'm back in business now.
