Hah! I almost forgot about my Redy Reel! How cool!
I used to have one of those too. I actually liked it a lot till I wound it with .008 stranded flying wire. It wan't made for that so don't anyone do it.

Sorry don't have your three view, maybe some else does.

I have .012 multi fibre thread on the redy reel -pretty draggy stuff.
My UReely has .008 cable on it much better.
I flew my .049 stunter which was a scaled down Coyote profile - on 50 ft of this
It worked very well the model was under 9 ounces fueled up ( TeeDee powered).
I have a lot of really good outrunners n li pos n esc's etc and I just got some control line timers from EFlite -
slick device and under 10 bucks list!
So electric control line - looks like a natural.
When I was a kid - the noisy control line engines were banned everywhere -
I bet I don't get any complaints on this stuff.

does anyone have good hands on info about which electric setup has aprox same thrust as a well nitroed up TEE DEE on a 6x3?
I can cut n try and find it but I am guessin - a 150 watt motor will work .

i scaled some Lil Duper Zilch plans to a 28" span -
turrns out about 170 sq in- should build all up at 5 ounces rtf
the original lil Zilch was smaller but i have motors from 50 watt to 1000 watt so I am sure I will find one that is "just right"
I think - a EFlite 300 on a 350 3 cell will be good - with a 7" GWSprop
There were lots of ZILCH permutations
I had aLil Duper and a Super Duper (w/Hassad Blue Streak engine)
and there were n Zilch X, PeeWee etc..
The nice part is no Testors glue or dope n silkspan -
This one will be built with CA and Ultracote lite for covering.
