Default 1/2 A Mustang

Based on Dick Sarpolus' 1/2 A series in FM it has a 26.5 inch span and weighs 7.5 oz. still needs decals and a couple of coats of clear. Power is a modified sure start with a Cox International sub induction piston cylinder and a merlin head.
Hope you like
Dwayne

Looks good!
Did you build it fully from plans you bought or drew yourself? If there is a back story to this plane, I'd like to hear(read it) so Ican include it in my blog.
Ialso noticed that you are in Canada. Is it your intention to put skis on it?
Make sure you let us see it when you get it completed.

Thanks Troy
I drew the plans myself, the original had a wing span of 29" but I thought it would be to much for a sure start so I shrank it a bit to 26.5" span. The artical is in the Jan 1999 isue of lying Models. I'll post a pic when it's finished and I'll sure to post a flight report come spring.
Thank again
Dwayne

SuperDwayne!
Got anything else in the hanger? I have two to cover and finish to start the season with:<ul>[*]Profile sorta-T-28 of my own design (I've been out of the loop... er circle...for over twenty years so this is my return[*]A scaled up from magazine, (that was no fun) half size of the original .35 Williams RingMaster, now for a Fox 15. That one has been waiting for 15 years to be finished (just repairs from neglect) and cover patching then finish.[*]Next project is a .10 powered "Coquette" from my birthday in 1955[/list]It's good to be back!
