Using an r/c engine with locked open carb
Hi all!
Does the setting of the low speed needle have any effect? Annette |
No.
|
It could do if the low speed needle is wound much too far in where it can be inside the spray bar hole and that would show up by not being able to richen the high speed needle.
|
What about the idle mixture screw on a single needle carb?
Annette |
the air bleed on a single needle carb will have no effect.

The air bleed is blocked off, so it would not affect anything as was said. I make inserts for my rc motors. You would need a lathe or a friend with one. I don't like to bend the rc ones, as they are sticking out more than a control line one, A remote needle is out of the way too if you land/crash upside down or whatever. Hmm that happened Sunday on the white plane. I am glad I shortened the needle valve from when I took that picture.
