Sold my old Ultimate bipe to a bud.....the 60 size with a 75AX up front...anyway was watching him really wring it out when he went against the pattern...and had a midair with a member flying the clubs trainer...a 60 sized......
Now get this...one wheel pant went above the wing and one pant below the wing...this caused the metal strut to sever the trainers 1/3 outboard wing off.....and break off the Bipes right aileron servo control horn.....Both aircraft made uneventful landings....the trainer on the runway and the bipe off to the approach end.....
Within 5 minutes a replacement trainer was ordered...a servo horn replaced and the Bioe was back in the air......Sorry no pictures or video
