I did get the re-maiden done. No pics or video.
I put 2 flights on the Cub. The engine idle went up about 500rpms when I went to do the 1st landing and it would not settle onto the runway. I had to go around and trim the idle down. The plane still floats like a J-3 should. I need to tune the carb a bit before flying again as it is running too rich. I will try to get someone to shoot video in the next week or two when the weather clears up. We are getting a lot of rain and storms.
Later!!

I would like to ad one thing about Stits covering, you really do not need to use the silver, that is intended to be used on full scale aircraft that sat out side, as a UV blocker. I have covered ultralights with out it to save weight. If you use Stits clear on it it has a UV blocker in it. I have a Kolb UltraStar that I built 1983 and the fabric is as good as new.

Hi Guys,
I finally got the Cub out again today. Put 4 flights on it and she fly's great. My 7yr old grandson put 2 flights on it. A buddy in the club shot a video, I will post a link when available.
Later!!

Love it! I haven't been out flying in a while, never have re-maidened my Cub, although I think she's all ready to go. Kind of been taking a hiatus from RC to ride my bicycle to loose weight and get back into shape. The older you get, the harder it gets! Best not to get out of shape in the first place!!!

At this point I would need a star trek transporter to only beam half of me up. Leave half of my molecules behind. " Enterprise one half to beam up".

Ok here is a short video of my grandson flying my Cub. He still needs to learn what a throttle is for. He thinks it should be used twice a flight, at take-off and again at landing.
