I built a four legged landing gear for my Spa3d, that held the plane nose up so I could take-off pointing straight up like rocket. Tried it acouple of times, never was successful. Was going to try to land it that way too. I thought it was a cool idea at the time though.

I dream about putting my cute little mouse, trained with pilot skills, equipped with jet parachute eject system.

And have the mouse trained in navigation, and load it with a GPS system.

Have this little cutie break world record by flying past 100 miles from one island to the next.

the craziest thing I did to my airplane this summer........hmm, how about I put my f-16 in a bikini, coverered with sun tan lotion and set it outside to tan while A-10s flew over it scoping the scene.
Now, is that crazy?

Beer can bowling put a can(what ever your preference) on the runway try to knock over the can on approach(no taxing into it).Great training for students trying to learn to overcome the fear of landing.They have to focus.

We once mounted model rockets to a gentle lady (only airplane available) and after launch, fired them off in all neighborly directions.

or for laughs show up at the flying field with your own frequency pin and say "oh, i just bring my own ,,because the pin i need is always taken" and shrug your shoulders..

I strapped the wing of my Avistar upside down and flew it.

The first mechnanical failure of my short RC career happened on this flight (lost one of my ailerons).

Flew like a champ...landed really fast but I won $50 for a complete, undamaged flight (takeoff, flight, landing).

Oh yea.

I actually wouldn't have done it if I knew it wouldn't have worked. The Avistar flies great inverted and it doesn't have too much dihedral.

This weekend we set it up on two radios, flew high, turned one radio off and after about 20 seconds took it over with the second radio.

i took 2 v-tail planes to the race 1 with rud 1 with out after lunch switch planes did not change modal on tx wow what a flite it was it did live got it down np

Other than flying combat?

Valley runs are fun at my field. Drop the plane out of sight off the end of the runway, and try to make the turn staying in the valley. Usually don't stay out of sight too long, but making the whole turn with just part of the high wing showing is cool.

I flew around behind some trees near my field. It's not all that hard, really, but it sure gets guys to look at you funny, and it's amazing that no one else wants to try it

Oh, not the craziest, but pretty funny.

A couple of weeks ago I was zooming back and forth down the runway about knee-to-waist high (lower than the tall grass beyond the runway). I got the bright idea to try a full throttle touch and go. But this plane doesn't have landing gear. So I tried to drag or slap down the wing tip. Didn't work, I hit it a bit harder than I wanted to, and wound up with a full throttle belly landing. Laughed pretty hard at that one. (oh, no damage to the plane, it just slid along the grass for quite a distance)

I thought it was funny when last night at a Fly-in (indoor) with Erick Royer and some other dudes...I was hovering ym electric doing a walk around TR and the motor flew out of the plane and everyone was quiet than clapped and laughed
